The Thought Process
We'll, we finished what we planned to do on the black 57 convertible project car and have decided to build another, but this time, we will build the car a few notches up on the "WOW" meter. Sure, driving these cars is a lot of fun, but planning, building, and then driving the finished product is even better. We could have tweaked the black 57 here and there, but figured it would be better to simply start from scratch.
Initial Plans and Progress Updates
The Dutchman's new 57 Rag Top will combine a stock body and chrome with all the latest street rod goodies available for the drivetrain, suspension, and interior. Initial plans include a super-charged late model Vette motor, aftermarket independent front & rear suspension systems, air bags on all four corners, an electronic overdrive tranny, and big rims & brakes. For the interior we're think'in a killer sound system and a modern leather interior that focuses on creature comforts such as power heated seats for cruising on those cool nights with the top down. Details, of course, will be outlined as we progress with the project. Click on a link to the right to follow the build.
Vendor/Manufacturer Participation
Here's an excellent opportunity to show your product or service on one of our project cars. This Dutchman Motorsports project car should draw a tremendous amount of interest, magazine coverage, and show exposure. Give us a call or fax to see how your efforts/products can be publicized.
